Tuten Elected ASCnet Chair
DALLAS (September 29, 2006)—The Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group for Applied Systems agency management technology, today announced that Vicky Tuten, CPA, a principal and chief financial officer of Kinker-Eveleigh Insurance Agency, Cincinnati, has been named chair.
The announcement was made here at ASCnet’s 21 st Annual TENCon—technology, education and networking conference.
Other newly elected officers include Immediate Past-Chair Donna Abramson, IT manager of Western Financial Group, Inc., High River, Alberta, Canada; and Vice Chair Kim Favreau, commercial lines manager, Connell & Curley Insurance Agency, Natick Mass.
Tuten has served as a chapter vice president and president, member of the board, finance committee member and ASCnet vice-chair. She received the ASCnet Presidential Citation in 2005 for her work on ASCnet’s Strategic Plan Task Force. “Vicky’s knowledge of the insurance industry as well as her commitment to ASCnet’s vision will advance ASCnet as a leading resource in the insurance industry” said ASCnet Chief Executive Officer Linn Wheeling, CAE. “Her skills and abilities are a perfect fit as ASCnet continues to enhance the tools and information our members want—and need—to make intelligent business decisions.
Tuten is responsible for systems administration and all financial functions at the Kinker-Eveleigh agency. She is a founding member of Southwest Ohio’s local ASCnet chapter. The chapter was named 2000 ASCnet Local Chapter of the Year.
As part of a governance calendar reorganization, Tuten will assume her ASCnet post on January 1.
