Irv Kantar joins Applied Systems to help carriers increase tech utilization and value in
agency relations

Agents to benefit as former carrier IT pro promotes tech services

University Park, IL—January 24, 2007— Irv Kantar brings more than 20 years of carrier experience as he joins the Interface Services team this month at Applied Systems, Inc., the agency management system technology company.

As carrier relationship manager at Applied Systems, Kantar will help insurance carriers fully understand how agents and brokers use Applied Systems products in daily sales and service workflows.

Further, Kantar will aim to help carriers realize greater value in their relationships with agencies and brokers that use The Agency Manager ® (TAM), Vision ® and DORIS™ by leveraging services that include interface, consulting, education, support, and even the services of the company’s expanded consultative sales team.

Kantar is the former agency automation manager at The Main Street America Group in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a long-time participant in the ACORD standards process, the IIABA’s Agents Council for Technology (ACT), and the ACORD User Group Information Exchange (AUGIE). His experience includes extensive work with IVANS ® and Applied Systems in all aspects of interface from download to real time.
