Industry eyes SEMCI issues

National Underwriter P&C posed a provocative question in its October 30, 2006 edition with “Are Apathetic Agents Holding Back SEMCI?” NU Technology Editor Ara Trembly authored the Final Say column, which highlights the need for more awareness about real time in the independent agent community.

The column sparked considerable discussion in NU’s Sam’s Blog. In addition, NU’s November 27 edition carried the two responses posted here--one from Applied Systems and one from Jeff Yates, executive director of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
